When Rabiu arrived here, I must admit that many of us were doubting a bit. Not because of its level, nor the austrian championship, but because he's been "found" by someone in Sochaux who has made quite serious transfer mistakes.
Rabiu was a substitute first, during a few months, but we could see quite quickly its abilities and he soon became an important player in our main "11". Since then, he played almost all the games he could. Its alliance with Jeremy Brechet is also interesting, actually our best central pair.
You were right, he's quick and very few players were able to overtake him. He's also able to be quick until the very last minutes of a game (I don't think he's been substituted once). He's precious for winning a lot of aerial challenges (?). He scored a very important
header against Marseille.
His only problem, according to me, is his weak ability to provide precise passes (even if he's improving). He's not the most technical player we have seen here, but he's a defender, after all. I hope he will stay here at least one more season, but some english clubs seem interested.
